The Chamber Ambassadors serve as liaisons between Chamber members and staff. They gather feedback and answer members’ questions during calls they make throughout the year. Many Ambassadors find their participation in this group to be an invaluable tool for making contacts throughout the Kalamazoo County business community. Those interested in applying should click here to e-mail the Recruitment Chair, Connie Peruchietti, or contact her by phone at (269) 387-3232.

Ambassador of the Year 2011
The Kalamazoo Regional Chamber of Commerce Chamber Ambassadors announced the Ambassador of the Year 2011 is Janis Clark from The Beacon Club.
The Ambassador of the
Year award is presented
annually to an individual who has most effectively fulfilled their
responsibilities as a Chamber Ambassador. The Chamber Ambassadors serve
as the
organization’s customer service liaisons. Ambassadors create goodwill,
promote
member retention, and act as intermediaries between the business
community and
Chamber staff. In addition, ambassadors must commit to at least one year
of
service, attend nine out of the 12 yearly meetings, volunteer for at
least two
major Chamber events and assist with Chamber activities, promotions and
networking
events throughout the year.
Congratulations Janis and thank you for your hard work and dedication to the Chamber Ambassadors program!
