The Transportation Advisory Council's goal is to maximize the safety and efficiency of, and support traffic volume for Southwest Michigan's primary highways I-94 and US 131. The Transportation Council develops an evolving list of road improvement priorities and helps coordinate the business community's involvement in seeking federal and state monies for projects. It also examines other transportation issues involving non-motorized trailways, rail, and air transportation.

The Transportation Advisory Council meets monthly on the first Friday of each month, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Chamber Building. RSVP are welcome but not required.
